Course information
Terms and conditions
Draft — not yet final. Draft for the provider's approval and UK consumer-law review. It is not a guarantee of legal compliance. Levels 1–3 are not on sale yet. Items the provider still has to confirm are listed at the end of this page. Version 2026-10-20-draft-2.
Who we are
The courses are provided by Asteem Ltd, trading as Trauma Informed Parenting. Postal address: Asteem Ltd, c/o Trauma Informed Parenting, Suite 201F, 60 Frederick Street, Birmingham, B1 3HS. Email: truaminformedparenting@yahoo.com.
These courses provide education and practical information. They are not therapy, diagnosis or a substitute for individual professional advice.
Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 describe stages in this provider’s learning pathway. They do not indicate regulated qualification levels.
This learning pathway is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dr Dan Hughes or official DDP training. Learning about PACE does not provide clinical DDP training or permission to practise therapy.
The free Foundation course
The Foundation course is free and needs no payment details. You create an account to save your progress. The free workbook can be downloaded as a printable PDF. A module tick is your own record of completion, not an assessed result. No fixed end date has been set; any change would be explained clearly first. It is not described as lifetime access.
Levels 1, 2 and 3: what you buy
Levels 1–3 are not on sale yet. When they are, each course page and the checkout will show, before you pay: what the course contains and who it is for, the total price, that it is a one-off payment in pounds, that access starts once payment is confirmed and lasts 12 months, and what you need to use it (a web browser, and a PDF reader for the workbook).
Any early bird price applies only for the first three calendar months from the official launch date (UK dates); regular prices then apply automatically. The price you pay is the one the website works out at the time you order. Levels can be bought in any order.
Each course is self-study online learning (digital content). It does not include live sessions, one-to-one support or therapy. If that ever changes, it will be described before purchase.
Your order and order confirmation
Your order is accepted when Stripe confirms your payment. We then open the course or courses you paid for straight away.
After payment you can view, print or save your order confirmation from your dashboard. It shows our details, what you bought, the price, your access dates, the consents you gave at checkout and how to get help. Before real sales start, the same confirmation will also be sent to you by email.
Your 14-day right to cancel
For most online purchases, UK law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) gives you 14 days from the day of the contract to cancel without giving a reason.
Because the lessons and workbook are digital content that opens straight away, at checkout we ask you to tick two separate boxes: one asking for your access to start straight away, and one confirming you understand that you lose your right to cancel once access starts. We cannot take payment unless both are ticked.
Once access has started after you have given both, you can no longer cancel under the 14-day rules. If we have not followed these steps properly, for example if we did not send you the confirmation, you keep your right to cancel.
Where you still have the right to cancel, tell us within 14 days by email or post, using the model form below or any clear statement. We will refund everything you paid, using the same payment method, within 14 days of being told, at no cost to you. Access to that course then ends.
Model cancellation form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You can send it by email or post, or send any other clear statement that you are cancelling.

I/We [*] hereby give notice that I/We [*] cancel my/our [*] contract for the supply of the following digital content [*]:

If something is wrong: your legal rights
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Signing in or downloading a workbook does not remove these rights.
If something is wrong, email us with your account email, what you bought and what the problem is. We will try to fix it or replace the content first. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can ask for a price reduction, which may be up to the full price.
Any refund owed is made to the same payment method, without a fee, within 14 days of us agreeing that you are entitled to it. If digital content we supplied damages your device or other digital content, and this happened because we did not take reasonable care, we will repair it or pay compensation.
A full refund, or a payment reversed by your card provider, ends access to the course or courses that payment paid for. A partial refund does not end access. This draft does not offer any extra goodwill refunds; your legal rights are never reduced.
Workbooks and personal use
Course materials are for your own personal learning. You may keep notes and print the workbooks for yourself. Buying a course does not transfer copyright.
Please do not share your account, publish or sell course files, or copy large parts for another course without written permission. Ask us first about use with a group or organisation.
Accounts and respectful use
Keep your sign-in details private and give accurate account details. Do not try to access another learner's information, misuse the website or upload sensitive details about children.
We may restrict access if there is a security risk or serious misuse. Any action will be proportionate and will not override your consumer rights.
Certificates and limits
Any completion certificate would record completion only. It is not a regulated qualification, professional licence or assessment of clinical skill. Certificates are not issued automatically yet.
Results depend on many things, so we cannot promise any particular outcome for a child or family. Seek individual professional support when needed. In an emergency, call 999.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
How quickly we reply
We reply to enquiries, cancellation requests and complaints within 48 hours on working days (Monday to Friday, not counting UK bank holidays). For example, a message sent on a Friday afternoon will be answered by the end of the following Tuesday.
This is how quickly we answer you. Any refund you are owed is still paid within the 14 days described above.
Changes and complaints
We will explain important changes before they affect you. What you have already paid for will not be reduced without a lawful reason.
For questions and complaints, email truaminformedparenting@yahoo.com or write to Asteem Ltd, c/o Trauma Informed Parenting, Suite 201F, 60 Frederick Street, Birmingham, B1 3HS. We reply within 2 working days (48 hours, Monday to Friday). If we cannot settle a complaint, you may be able to get independent advice from Citizens Advice.
